McGrath Estate Agents is recruiting an experienced Senior Franchise Operations & Growth Manager at our Rushcutters Bay headquarters in Sydney. You will partner with franchise business owners, driving network profitability, advising on rent roll acquisitions, recruiting top-performing sales agents, and expanding the McGrath brand footprint.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Consult with: Consult with franchise principals on operational business plans, cash flow profitability, and market share growth.
  • Identify and: Identify and execute strategic franchise office conversions and greenfield territory expansions.
  • Advise principals: Advise principals on rent roll valuations, asset due diligence, and merger-acquisition funding.
  • Lead executive: Lead executive recruitment of top 5% residential sales agents across assigned territories.
  • Ensure adherence: Ensure adherence to McGrath franchise agreements, brand standards, and statutory licensing requirements.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at McGrath Real Estate, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Business, Commerce, or Property & Licensed Real Estate Agent.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Property Economics.
  • Current Real Estate Agent Licence (NSW or QLD).
  • 5+ years senior franchise consulting or operational management experience within Australian real estate.
  • Thorough knowledge of rent roll asset valuations, property management multiples, and trust accounting.

  • Competitive Remuneration: AU$140,000 – AU$175,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
  • Salary $140,000 – $175,000 + 11.5% super + network expansion performance bonuses.
