Self-Service Account Deactivation & Instant Data Erasure: Jobsticle empowers all registered job seekers, candidates, and employers with direct, automated control over their personal data. You can delete or deactivate your account at any time without needing to wait for support by navigating to Dashboard > Settings > Deactivate Account.
When you confirm account deactivation:
- Your public candidate or employer profile is immediately unpublished and removed from public directories and map views.
- Your resume, uploaded credentials, contact phone numbers, and profile portfolio items are permanently decoupled from public indexing.
- Your active job listings or applications are closed and flagged for secure purging in accordance with our data retention schedule.
- This automated self-service mechanism fulfills your statutory Right to Erasure / Right to be Forgotten under GDPR Article 17, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Section 12 of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Where applicable, you may request deletion of your personal information or closure of your account.
Deletion may be subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business requirements.

Jobsticle does not sell your personal information to third parties in exchange for monetary compensation. When you apply to a job, your application information is transferred to the respective employer at your direction. To the extent third-party analytics or advertising cookies are construed as “sharing” under California law, you may opt out via our Cookie Banner or your browser’s Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

In compliance with Section 5 of the DPDP Act, Jobsticle collects digital personal data (name, email, mobile contact, education, resume, employment experience) solely for the specified purpose of enabling candidate employment matching, job applications, employer recruitment services, and platform communications. 2. Rights of the Data Principal (Sections 11 to 14)
As a Data Principal under Indian law, you possess:
