Lead total television advertising sales, broadcast sponsorship integrations, and fast-growing BVOD revenue on 9Now.

Nine Entertainment is recruiting an accomplished Head of Television & Digital Video Ad Sales based at 1 Denison Street, North Sydney. You will lead commercial advertising sales across the Channel 9 network, Olympic Games broadcasts, major NRL properties, and 9Now streaming video, partnering with national media holding groups.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Lead commercial: Lead commercial sales strategy and revenue delivery across linear broadcast television and 9Now digital video.
  • Structure landmark: Structure landmark commercial sponsorships for flagship entertainment and live sporting events (Australian Open, NRL).
  • Lead Total: Lead Total TV trading negotiations utilizing Virtual Australia (VOZ) measurement data.
  • Manage agency: Manage agency group commercial trading heads and direct client CMO relationships.
  • Mentor a: Mentor a high-performing team of group sales managers, account managers, and sales coordinators.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Nine Entertainment Co, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Media, Business, or Marketing & Extensive Broadcast Media Sales Track Record.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
  • Degree in Business, Media, or Marketing.
  • 10+ years broadcast television or digital video media sales experience in Australia.
  • Deep relationships with media agency holding companies (GroupM, Omnicom, IPG, Publicis).
  • Proven record of commercial leadership and high-stakes revenue negotiation.
