LJ Hooker Newcastle is seeking a Head of Property Management to direct operations and team growth across a rent roll of 1,200 properties.

LJ Hooker Newcastle is appointing an experienced Head of Residential Property Management to lead our property management division.

As a key member of the team at LJ Hooker in Newcastle, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead and: Lead and inspire a team of 10 property managers, leasing consultants, and administrative staff.
• Maintain portfolio: Maintain portfolio compliance with NSW Residential Tenancies Act and trust accounting rules.
• Handle complex: Handle complex landlord dispute escalations and represent agency at NCAT tribunal hearings.
• Drive rent: Drive rent roll organic growth strategies and maintain low vacancy rates.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at LJ Hooker, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: NSW Class 1 Real Estate Agent Licence.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• NSW Real Estate Class 1 Agent Licence.
• Minimum 5 years senior residential property management leadership experience.
• Proficiency with modern property management platforms (PropertyTree or Console Cloud).

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$105,000 – AU$130,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $105,000 – $130,000 + rent roll growth bonuses + company vehicle / allowance + super.
