Omnicom Media Group (OMD/PHD) has an opening for a dynamic Head of Media Strategy based at our South Yarra offices in Melbourne. You will lead the strategic product for major national brand clients, crafting cross-platform media architecture across screen, audio, outdoor, programmatic, and retail media networks.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities
In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:
- Lead high-level: Lead high-level integrated communications strategy and consumer journey mapping for blue-chip corporate clients.
- Deploy econometric: Deploy econometric market mix modeling (MMM) and attention metrics to prove media investment ROI.
- Direct competitive: Direct competitive media pitches and author award-winning Cannes Lions / Effies case studies.
- Mentor and: Mentor and develop a team of media strategists, communications planners, and connections planners.
- Collaborate with: Collaborate with creative agencies and platform partners (Google, Meta, TikTok) to pioneer media firsts.
Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience
To be successful in this position at Omnicom Media Group Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, or Communications.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications.
- 8+ years media strategy experience with a recognized national or global media agency.
- Recognized strategic authority with a portfolio of high-performing consumer brand campaigns.
- Captivating presentation style capable of winning over C-suite brand marketers.

- Competitive Remuneration: AU$160,000 – AU$195,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
