Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Develop end-to-end: Develop end-to-end digital acquisition campaigns across paid search, social media, programmatic, and email.
  • Optimize subscriber: Optimize subscriber conversion funnels, paywall triggers, and pricing promotions using A/B testing.
  • Analyze audience: Analyze audience reading behavior and subscriber churn using Google Analytics 4 and SQL dashboards.
  • Collaborate with: Collaborate with editorial directors to amplify breaking news and investigative journalism campaigns.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at News Corp Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or Media.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
  • 5+ years performance marketing experience driving digital subscription or e-commerce acquisition.
  • Advanced expertise in paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience converting raw data into marketing strategies.

  • Competitive Remuneration: AU$135,000 – AU$165,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
  • Salary $135,000 – $165,000 + performance incentive bonus + super.
