Pilbara Minerals is currently recruiting an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor (Mid-Stream Demonstration Plant) to join the team in Pilgangoora, Pilbara, WA, Australia. Operating on a 8:6 / 7:7 FIFO roster from Perth, this role reports directly to the Production Superintendent and is responsible for delivering high-standard operational deliverables that underpin safe, continuous production.

Based at the world-class Pilgangoora lithium operation—the largest independent hard-rock lithium deposit globally—you will be an essential contributor to fixed plant reliability, mobile equipment availability, and metallurgical processing excellence powering the international battery and electric vehicle markets.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Shift Production Leadership: Run and supervise MSDP shift operations (control room, pyro and hydro areas).
• Demonstration Plant Commissioning: Preserve and service safe, stable production within design limits and approved procedures.
• Operational Safety & Compliance Governance: Rigorously track and monitor throughput/recovery/yield/purity and correct process deviations.
• Slurry & Chemical Recovery Tracking: Spearhead and guide start-ups, shutdowns, isolations and changeovers.
• Team Development & Training Mentorship: Synchronize and coordinate shift maintenance (PPM and breakdowns) and manage Pronto work orders/close-out.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Pilbara Minerals, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Tertiary Qualification in Mineral Processing / Chemical Technology or Extensive Supervisory Experience
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified operational mining or industrial experience in Australia.
• Supervisory Leadership Background: Section 26 Statutory Supervisor (or able to obtain) with a strong safety-first mindset.
• Chemical Refining or Minerals Processing Experience: Proven shift supervisory experience in a high-hazard processing environment (hydro/pyro/chemical).
• Statutory WA Mining Safety Competencies: Strong process monitoring and troubleshooting capability, with a focus on stable plant operation.
• Emergency Command Capability: Solid understanding of PTW, isolations/LOTO, risk assessments and incident investigation.
• Shift Work Availability: Comfortable coordinating shift maintenance activities and prioritising breakdown response.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$165,000 – AU$195,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%). (Salary structure is not officially stated by the employer; this represents the general industry standard for this position in Western Australia.)
