Pilbara Minerals is currently recruiting an experienced and dedicated Principal Finance Systems to join the team in Perth Corporate Office, WA, Australia. Operating on a 5:2 Perth Corporate Hybrid, this role reports directly to the Group Manager Finance Corporate and Reporting you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and is responsible for delivering high-standard operational deliverables that underpin safe, continuous production.

Based at Pilbara Minerals’ corporate office in West Perth with potential site liaison, this position plays an integral role in driving engineering, systems governance, commercial planning, and continuous improvement across the company’s tier-one hard-rock lithium portfolio.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Financial Systems Architecture Strategy: Own Anaplan governance, configuration management and oversight across opex, capex and workforce planning domains (with support for builds).
  • ERP Financial Module Optimization: Spearhead and guide financial systems architecture and governance across Anaplan, Power BI, Power Apps and adjacent platforms.
  • Reporting Automation & Data Integrations: Define finance technology standards, documentation frameworks and reusable design patterns.
  • Internal Controls & Access Governance: Design and oversee automated integrations between ERP, Anaplan, Snowflake and reporting platforms.
  • Continuous Improvement & Technology Upgrades: Implement data validation, reconciliation and audit controls across finance platforms.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Pilbara Minerals, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Information Systems (CPA/CA preferred)
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 8+ Years of verified operational mining or industrial experience in Australia.
  • Tertiary Finance / IT Qualification: Tertiary qualified in finance, accounting, commerce or related field.
  • Extensive Enterprise ERP Architecture Experience: + years’ experience with enterprise finance platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, OneStream) and systems architecture.
  • Financial Consolidation & Modeling Tools: Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Experience governing, configuring and maintaining Anaplan models across multiple planning domains.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience designing integrations between finance platforms, ERP systems and data warehouses.

  • Competitive Remuneration: AU$185,000 – AU$225,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%). (Salary structure is not officially stated by the employer; this represents the general industry standard for this position in Western Australia.)
