CPB Contractors is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to helm major civil infrastructure works in greater Sydney. In this high-impact executive role, you will lead design management, tunnel boring operations, commercial subcontract execution, and workforce safety on premier transport mega-projects.

As a key member of the team at CPB Contractors in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead overall: Lead overall site operations, project programming, and commercial milestones on large-scale infrastructure.
• Oversee tunnel: Oversee tunnel excavation, structural concrete lining, and mechanical-electrical fit-out packages.
• Manage Tier-1: Manage Tier-1 subcontracts, dispute resolution, and contractual variations under GC21 standards.
• Interface with: Interface with Transport for NSW, utility authorities, and community stakeholders.
• Foster an: Foster an uncompromising safety culture achieving zero harm across all operational workfaces.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at CPB Contractors, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years experience in civil construction with at least 5 years managing major packages.
• Proven track record delivering mega-infrastructure ($200M+) in road, rail, or tunnelling.
• Current NSW Construction White Card and proven contract administration acumen.

At CPB Contractors, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$210,000 – AU$265,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Executive remuneration package $210,000 – $265,000 + company vehicle or car allowance + super.
• Significant project completion bonuses and retention incentives.
