Position Quick Summary
Project Scope & Operating Environment
Seeking experienced Poly Welders with proven experience to join our APLNG team.
Expressions of interest are now being sought from suitably qualified and experienced Poly Welders for our APLNG Project who are driven and passionate about delivering excellence.
Key Duties & Core Performance Deliverables
- Deliver high-standard operational and professional performance aligned with the scope of Poly Welder.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with package engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and commercial teams.
- Enforce strict adherence to CPB Contractors’ ‘Safety Always’ zero-harm culture and quality frameworks.
- Identify operational roadblocks and risk items proactively, implementing solutions to maintain program delivery.
Required Qualifications, Licences & Experience
- Experience in all aspects of butt and electro fusion welding
- Experience working in a tie in crew on large diameter pipe
- Possess experience operating fast fusion welding machines
- A current dogman ticket would be considered highly advantageous
- These roles are offered on a roster arrangement FIFO from Brisbane, DIDO or local hire, working 18 days on and 10 days off roster.

- Competitive base salary: AUD $120,000 – $155,000 per annum.
