NAB is seeking a dynamic Senior Corporate Treasury Manager to join the Treasury & Capital Markets division in Melbourne. You will manage group liquidity buffers, execute foreign exchange derivatives, and manage interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB) in compliance with APRA prudential standards.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Formulate daily: Formulate daily cash forecasting and liquidity positioning across domestic and global clearing currencies.
  • Execute foreign: Execute foreign exchange (FX) spot, forward, and swap transactions to hedge commercial currency exposures.
  • Manage interest: Manage interest rate derivative portfolios (IRS, basis swaps) to optimize net interest margin (NIM).
  • Oversee Treasury: Oversee Treasury Management System (TMS) integrations, automated SWIFT payments, and bank relationship pricing.
  • Report liquidity: Report liquidity coverage ratios (LCR) and net stable funding ratios (NSFR) to executive asset-liability committees (ALCO).

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at National Australia Bank (NAB), candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce, Economics, or Finance & Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Actuarial Studies.
  • 6+ years treasury management experience in a large bank or corporate treasury department.
  • Deep comprehension of financial market products, derivatives, and hedge accounting (AASB 9).
  • High proficiency in treasury systems such as Quantum, Kyriba, or Wallstreet.
