Partner with Western Australian broadacre farmers, pastoralists, and horticultural enterprises to deliver seasonal finance and capital investment at NAB.
NAB Agribusiness is seeking an experienced Agribusiness Banking Manager to manage and expand our agricultural portfolio across Western Australia. Based in Perth with regular regional client travel, you will spend time on-farm understanding seasonal crop yields, livestock cycles, and commodity hedging needs to structure tailored commercial debt solutions.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities
In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:
- Manage a: Manage a diverse portfolio of broadacre grain growers, livestock producers, and agricultural supply chain operators.
- Structure seasonal: Structure seasonal working capital facilities, farm mortgages, livestock leasing, and equipment finance.
- Conduct comprehensive: Conduct comprehensive on-farm risk assessments, analyzing water rights, soil productivity, and commodity risk.
- Write detailed: Write detailed credit applications and present complex agricultural lending requests to Credit Risk delegates.
- Foster strong: Foster strong ties with regional agronomy consultants, stock agents, and farm succession planners.
Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience
To be successful in this position at National Australia Bank (NAB), candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Commerce or Finance.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 4+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
- 4+ years in agribusiness lending or rural financial management with a recognized Australian financial institution.
- Practical knowledge of Australian broadacre cropping, beef/sheep livestock operations, and agricultural markets.
- Solid financial statement analysis skills and understanding of farm cash budgets and equity benchmarks.
- Current Australian driver’s license and willingness to undertake regional travel across Western Australia.
