Westpac Group is looking for a Lead Internal Audit Manager focused on Technology & Operational Resilience in Sydney. You will manage high-profile internal audits assessing cybersecurity, cloud platforms, critical third-party suppliers, and operational resilience frameworks compliant with APRA standards.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Develop audit: Develop audit scopes, testing work programs, and risk control matrices for technology assets.
• Assess operational: Assess operational resilience and business continuity frameworks aligned with APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234.
• Evaluate ITGC,: Evaluate ITGC, privileged access management, and automated controls across core banking systems.
• Author high-quality: Author high-quality audit reports with pragmatic remediation recommendations for the Board Audit Committee.
• Maintain ongoing: Maintain ongoing stakeholder relationships with Chief Information Officers and General Managers.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Westpac Group, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce / IT & CIA, CISA, or CA Qualification.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 6+ years internal audit experience in financial services or Big 4 assurance.
• Professional certification: CISA, CIA, CA, or CPA.
• Deep comprehension of APRA prudential standards (CPS 230, CPS 234).

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$155,000 – AU$190,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $155,000 – $190,000 + 11.5% super + performance incentive.
