Atlassian is seeking an Engineering Manager to steer multiple cross-functional engineering teams. Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Manage and: Manage and mentor 8-12 talented backend, frontend, and full-stack software engineers.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with product and design leaders to define quarterly OKRs and technical roadmaps.
• Champion technical: Champion technical excellence, software quality gates, and high operational engineering standards.
• Foster psychological: Foster psychological safety, inclusive hiring practices, and career progression pathways.
• Oversee incident: Oversee incident management reviews and ensure resilient platform operations.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Atlassian, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent leadership experience.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 8+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 3+ years in software engineering people management plus 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering complex software projects in fast-paced cloud SaaS environments.
• Strong empathy, exceptional communication skills, and proven ability to coach and develop talent.
• Deep understanding of modern agile development, continuous deployment, and distributed systems.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$200,000 – AU$240,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
