Lead enterprise architecture and multi-cloud strategy for MYOB’s next-generation business management and ERP platforms in Adelaide.

MYOB is hiring a Principal Cloud Solutions Architect to steer our enterprise business software vision. Based in Adelaide with national reach, you will consult across executive technology leaders and product directors to guide cloud migrations, microservices decomposition, and zero-trust security postures for our highest-tier enterprise ERP clients.

As a key member of the team at MYOB in Adelaide, SA, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Define high-level: Define high-level technical blueprints and architectural roadmaps for large-scale enterprise ERP systems.
• Guide cross-functional: Guide cross-functional engineering squads in breaking down legacy monoliths into cloud-native services.
• Evaluate emerging: Evaluate emerging technologies (Generative AI, serverless, distributed data meshes) for business adoption.
• Establish architectural: Establish architectural governance frameworks and lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
• Present technical: Present technical strategy to executive leadership and key corporate enterprise clients.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at MYOB, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering + Master’s degree or industry certifications.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 8+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 8+ years in software engineering and enterprise cloud architecture in large-scale SaaS organizations.
• Mastery of cloud computing platforms (AWS / Azure) and distributed architecture design patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior business stakeholders and build alignment across large engineering teams.
• Superb communication, analytical thinking, and strategic roadmap planning capabilities.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$175,000 – AU$215,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
