The Star Sydney is appointing a Food & Beverage Operations Manager in Pyrmont to direct multi-venue luxury dining and cocktail bars.

The Star Sydney is seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee operational standards and guest hospitality across premier dining venues.

As a key member of the team at The Star Entertainment Group in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead daily: Lead daily operations across premium restaurants, rooftop lounges, and cocktail bars.
• Oversee venue: Oversee venue financial performance, labor productivity, and beverage cost margins.
• Coach front-of-house: Coach front-of-house teams to deliver 5-star luxury hospitality and wine service.
• Ensure full: Ensure full compliance with NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and gaming laws.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at The Star Entertainment Group, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Diploma of Hospitality Management or Degree.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Minimum 5 years senior F&B management experience in luxury resorts or high-volume dining.
• Current NSW RSA and RCG certifications.
• Exceptional leadership, financial acumen, and guest relationship management.

At The Star Entertainment Group, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$110,000 – AU$130,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Remuneration $110,000 – $130,000 + annual bonus + superannuation.
• Free on-site parking at Pyrmont precinct and dry-cleaning services.

• Leave Entitlements: 4 weeks annual leave (with 17.5% annual leave loading where applicable) plus 10 days paid personal/carer’s leave.
