The Star Entertainment Group is hiring an experienced Food & Beverage Operations Director to lead our culinary and beverage operations at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. You will take ownership of over 15 distinct dining concepts, rooftop day clubs, cocktail lounges, and event spaces, leading restaurant general managers and beverage directors to smash commercial targets and deliver unforgettable resort experiences.

As a key member of the team at The Star Entertainment Group in Gold Coast, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Direct multi-outlet: Direct multi-outlet F&B operations generating over $70M in annual hospitality revenues.
• Drive labor: Drive labor scheduling efficiency, cost of goods sold (COGS), and menu margin optimization across all kitchens and bars.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with celebrity chef partners to maintain concept consistency and service excellence.
• Lead service: Lead service standards training, mystery diner audits, and guest feedback resolution.
• Direct major: Direct major resort entertainment activations, seasonal festivals, and VIP private events.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at The Star Entertainment Group, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Hotel Operations.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 8+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 8+ years of senior food and beverage management experience across large-scale luxury integrated resorts or multi-outlet venues.
• Proven track record delivering strong financial margins and revenue growth in high-volume hospitality.
• Inspirational leadership style with ability to motivate hundreds of culinary and service team members.
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related discipline.

At The Star Entertainment Group, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$165,000 – AU$195,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Executive salary ($165,000 – $195,000) + short-term incentive performance bonus.
• Broadbeach Gold Coast resort location with free onsite parking and dining allowances.
