Lead premium corporate suites, member club dining, and event-day hospitality operations for 50,000 fans at Marvel Stadium Melbourne.

Delaware North is hiring an Executive Operations Manager for Premium Stadium Hospitality at Marvel Stadium in Docklands, Melbourne. You will direct food and beverage execution across 60 corporate hospitality suites, the prestigious Medallion Club, and private dining rooms during major AFL matches, international concerts, and world soccer tournaments.

As a key member of the team at Delaware North Australia in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Direct premium: Direct premium hospitality delivery across corporate suites, private dining clubs, and stadium function rooms.
• Manage event-day: Manage event-day front-of-house service standards, VIP protocol, and food delivery timing.
• Oversee casual: Oversee casual workforce check-in, grooming audits, service briefing, and real-time floor supervision.
• Manage beverage: Manage beverage inventory pars, cellar stock reconciliations, and bar gross profit targets.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with stadium precinct executives (AFL) to deliver seamless VIP experiences.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Delaware North Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Event Management, or Business Administration.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 6+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 6+ years of hospitality management experience in premium stadiums, 5-star hotel banquets, or major convention centres.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, fast-turnaround event catering under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional customer engagement, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or Business.

At Delaware North Australia, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$135,000 – AU$160,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $135,000 – $160,000 + event performance bonus + superannuation.
• Marvel Stadium Docklands office with access to world-class sports and entertainment events.
