You will develop trade product merchandising strategies, partner with major building materials manufacturers, optimize commercial account pricing, and equip trade specialists to grow market share among builders and commercial contractors.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities
In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:
- Develop and: Develop and execute commercial trade merchandising plans across building materials, plumbing, electrical, and hardware.
- Analyze trade: Analyze trade customer purchasing behaviors to optimize trade pricing, bulk pack sizing, and job-lot availability.
- Collaborate with: Collaborate with supplier partners to secure exclusive commercial product lines and trade marketing support.
- Partner with: Partner with regional trade sales managers to drive sales growth among commercial builders and organizations.
- Monitor trade: Monitor trade sales P&L metrics, gross profit margins, and inventory turn across national trade distribution centres.
Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience
To be successful in this position at Bunnings Group, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Construction Management or related field.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
- 5+ years of commercial trade sales, building supplies merchandising, or B2B category management experience.
- Solid understanding of the Australian building and construction industry, trades, and procurement cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen, data analytics capability, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-first mindset with exceptional cross-functional leadership ability.

- Competitive Remuneration: AU$130,000 – AU$155,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
