W Brisbane is recruiting an energetic Director of Sales & Marketing to drive revenue generation and brand dominance in the Queensland market. Leading a proactive team of sales managers and digital marketers, you will capture corporate accounts, luxury leisure travelers, and major international conventions.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities
In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:
- Formulate and: Formulate and execute the annual hotel commercial sales, public relations, and digital marketing strategy.
- Drive MICE: Drive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) sales targeting high-yield association events.
- Negotiate annual: Negotiate annual corporate travel agreements (RFP) with multinational and ASX-listed enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with: Collaborate with Marriott Global Sales Offices (GSO) to capture international wholesale and luxury consortia trade.
- Oversee social: Oversee social media campaigns, brand partnerships, and media influencer activations.
Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience
To be successful in this position at Marriott International Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality Management.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality.
- 5+ years senior sales leadership experience within upscale or luxury lifestyle hotels.
- Established network of corporate travel buyers, PCOs, and inbound tour operators in Australia.
- Deep comprehension of revenue management metrics and digital acquisition funnels.

- Competitive Remuneration: AU$155,000 – AU$190,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
