Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, DBT programs, and psychometric neurodevelopmental assessments for youth and families.

The Victoria Clinic (Healthscope) is recruiting an experienced Lead Clinical Psychologist to guide our Child & Adolescent Mental Health outpatient and day program services in Prahran, Melbourne. You will provide specialized individual psychotherapy, DBT skills groups, and neurodevelopmental assessments for youth navigating complex anxiety, mood, and trauma presentations.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Conduct comprehensive: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, risk assessments, and psychometric testing (WISC-V, WAIS-IV, ADI-R).
• Deliver individual: Deliver individual evidence-based psychotherapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Facilitate adolescent: Facilitate adolescent outpatient DBT skills groups and parent psychoeducation workshops.
• Collaborate closely: Collaborate closely with consultant psychiatrists, mental health nurses, and school psychologists.
• Provide clinical: Provide clinical supervision to registrars completing the AHPRA Clinical Psychology Registrar program.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Healthscope, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Master or Doctorate of Clinical Psychology & AHPRA Clinical Psychology Endorsement.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Current unconditional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA with Clinical Psychology endorsement.
• AHPRA Board-Approved Supervisor status (or eligible).
• Minimum 4 years post-endorsement experience with children, adolescents, and families.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$115,000 – AU$142,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Remuneration $115,000 – $142,000 + 11.5% super + corporate performance bonus.
