Operational Context: Technical Infrastructure & Facility Engineering

CBRE Technical Services delivers engineering reliability across commercial high-rises, research laboratories, manufacturing sites, and critical infrastructure. Engineers and technicians execute proactive planned preventative maintenance (PPM), building automation system (BAS) calibration, power factor correction, and mechanical equipment lifecycle overhauls, ensuring compliance with local building codes, OSHA standards, and environmental sustainability mandates.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

In this capacity, your daily workflows and strategic contributions will center on the following core deliverables:

• Supervise operational workflows and service level delivery across dedicated client real estate assets in Building Management, Engineering/Maintenance.
• Interface directly with multidisciplinary stakeholders, engineering contractors, and leadership to maintain quality governance.
• Implement preventative maintenance protocols, compliance checks, and performance tracking across key site systems.
• Monitor operational expenditure budgets, vendor performance metrics, and service request resolutions.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), and regulatory statutory requirements across all operational activities.
• Prepare comprehensive reporting dashboards, executive briefing summaries, and asset condition documentation for client and internal stakeholders.

Candidate Profile & Experience Requirements

To qualify for the Multi-Skilled Technician position, candidates are evaluated based on their hands-on background, technical credentials, and operational competencies:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of verified experience directly applicable to building management, engineering/maintenance or related operational disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience within commercial real estate, corporate facilities, or critical systems operations.
• Proven technical acumen, problem-solving capability, and familiarity with industry-standard workflow and safety management platforms.
• Strong interpersonal communication, customer-first orientation, and capability to prioritize multiple concurrent deliverables.
• Technical & Analytical Aptitude: Familiarity with computerized enterprise management platforms, building telemetry, or financial modeling tools relevant to the specialization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with the demonstrated ability to articulate complex operational matters clearly to non-technical clients and executive teams.
