Ramsay Health Care North Shore Private Hospital is hiring a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist for orthopedics and neurosurgery theatres.

North Shore Private Hospital is looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Perioperative Scrub/Scout nursing across 12 cutting-edge operating suites.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead complex: Lead complex scrub and scout duties during orthopedic joint replacements and spinal surgeries.
• Verify surgical: Verify surgical instrumentation, counts, and sterile field maintenance with uncompromising attention to detail.
• Coordinate pre-operative: Coordinate pre-operative and intra-operative case workflows with surgeons and anaesthetists.
• Provide clinical: Provide clinical preceptorship to graduate nurses and rotation staff.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Ramsay Health Care, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Unrestricted Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate perioperative experience with expertise in orthopedics.
• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$105,000 – AU$122,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary range of $105,000 – $122,000 + 11.5% super + on-call loading.
