North Shore Private Hospital (Ramsay Health Care) is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. You will work alongside emergency physicians and specialist nurses providing advanced clinical assessment, trauma stabilization, and rapid clinical escalation in a state-of-the-art private emergency facility.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Perform rapid: Perform rapid triage assessments and emergency patient prioritization using the Australasian Triage Scale (ATS).
• Lead acute: Lead acute resuscitation interventions, cardiac defibrillation, and advanced airway management support.
• Administer scheduled: Administer scheduled emergency pharmaceuticals, IV infusions, and blood component therapy under clinical protocols.
• Monitor continuous: Monitor continuous ECG telemetry, invasive hemodynamic lines, and point-of-care arterial blood gases.
• Coordinate inter-departmental: Coordinate inter-departmental transfers to ICU, cardiac catheter labs, and emergency surgical theatres.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Ramsay Health Care, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing & Current Unrestricted AHPRA Registration.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 2-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 2 years experience within an Australian Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS 2) certification or willingness to complete.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Clearance.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$92,000 – AU$112,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Generous salary $92,000 – $112,000 + 11.5% super + weekend shift penalties.
