The Epworth Centre for Clinical Research in Richmond, Melbourne, is recruiting an experienced Lead Clinical Research Coordinator. In this vital scientific role, you will coordinate groundbreaking Phase I and Phase II commercial and investigator-initiated clinical trials evaluating novel targeted therapies and immunotherapy compounds.

As a key member of the team at Epworth HealthCare in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Screen, consent,: Screen, consent, and randomize prospective trial participants adhering to ICH-GCP guidelines and ethical approvals.
• Coordinate protocol-mandated: Coordinate protocol-mandated visits, serialized pharmacokinetic (PK) blood draws, and biological specimen processing.
• Monitor and: Monitor and grade adverse events utilizing Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE V5.0).
• Maintain audit-ready: Maintain audit-ready electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF) in clinical trial management software (Medidata Rave).
• Liaise with: Liaise with international pharmaceutical sponsors, Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), and Principal Investigators.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Epworth HealthCare, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing / Life Sciences & Current GCP (Good Clinical Practice) Certification.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, or related health discipline.
• Current Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) certification.
• Minimum 4 years experience coordinating early-phase clinical trials in an Australian hospital or academic site.
• Meticulous regulatory documentation and multi-stakeholder management capabilities.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$105,000 – AU$128,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $105,000 – $128,000 + 11.5% super + full salary packaging benefits.
