Manage national refrigerated B-Double fleets, active temperature monitoring, and fresh produce linehaul delivery for Lindsay Fresh Logistics.

Lindsay Australia is hiring an experienced Cold Chain Logistics & Refrigerated Fleet Manager to lead refrigerated freight movements at our Acacia Ridge depot in Brisbane. You will ensure the unbroken cold chain transit of fresh fruit, vegetables, and chilled foods from Australian farms to central wholesale markets and supermarkets, managing Thermo King refrigeration equipment, temperature data loggers, and linehaul schedules.

As a key member of the team at Lindsay Australia in Brisbane, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Direct refrigerated: Direct refrigerated linehaul fleet movements across Queensland and interstate trunk routes.
• Monitor live: Monitor live IoT temperature telemetry and setpoint alarms to prevent cargo spoilage during transit.
• Ensure full: Ensure full adherence to Heavy Vehicle National Law, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and food safety regulations.
• Oversee preventative: Oversee preventative maintenance and pre-trip inspections for Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units.
• Manage driver: Manage driver allocation, depot cross-docking workflows, and customer delivery DIFOT metrics.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Lindsay Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Transport Management, or substantial cold chain operations leadership.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 6+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 6+ years in road freight logistics with extensive experience managing refrigerated or perishable goods transport.
• Deep technical knowledge of mobile refrigeration units, air circulation physics, and temperature recording compliance.
• Solid grasp of Heavy Vehicle National Law, driver fatigue management, and NHVR standards.
• Strong leadership presence, customer commitment, and commercial operational discipline.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$135,000 – AU$160,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary ($135,000 – $160,000) + fully maintained company vehicle + performance bonus.
