Lead national Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), statistical demand forecasting algorithms, and inventory safety stock optimization.

Team Global Express is recruiting an analytical Lead Supply Chain Inventory Planning & Demand Forecasting Manager in Sydney. You will direct end-to-end demand planning for multi-client 3PL warehousing accounts, establishing algorithmic forecasting models, safety stock buffers, and collaborative S&OP consensus meetings.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead monthly: Lead monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) consensus cycles aligning sales, finance, and operations.
• Build statistical: Build statistical demand forecasting models in Blue Yonder (JDA) incorporating seasonality and promotional uplifts.
• Optimize multi-echelon: Optimize multi-echelon inventory safety stock levels, minimizing working capital while ensuring 99%+ order fill rates.
• Analyze slow-moving: Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB), formulating stock clearance strategies.
• Establish automated: Establish automated inventory exception dashboards in Power BI and SAP.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Team Global Express, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business, or Economics & APICS CSCP / CPIM.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Applied Statistics, Commerce, or Operations Research.
• APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or CPIM certification.
• 5+ years inventory and demand planning experience with a major retailer, FMCG brand, or 3PL.
• Advanced software capability in Blue Yonder / JDA, SAP IBP, or Kinaxis RapidResponse.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$140,000 – AU$175,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $140,000 – $175,000 + 11.5% super + performance bonus.
