SEEK is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join our Information Security team in Cremorne. You will partner with dozens of engineering squads to conduct threat modeling, perform white-box code audits, automate security scanning in CI/CD pipelines, and safeguard sensitive employment data against modern cyber adversaries.

As a key member of the team at SEEK in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Conduct threat: Conduct threat modeling and secure architecture reviews for upcoming product releases.
• Perform manual: Perform manual and automated penetration tests across web, mobile, and cloud API endpoints.
• Embed SAST,: Embed SAST, DAST, and software composition analysis (Snyk/Dependabot) tools into build pipelines.
• Triage vulnerability: Triage vulnerability disclosures from bug bounty programs and coordinate remediation with product squads.
• Deliver interactive: Deliver interactive secure coding workshops and mentor developers as Security Champions.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at SEEK, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent industry certifications (OSCP, CISSP).
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 5+ years of practical application security or offensive penetration testing experience.
• Deep familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, web security standards, and modern exploit techniques.
• Ability to read and audit source code in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CISSP, or equivalent practical track record.

At SEEK, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$165,000 – AU$195,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary package $165,000 – $195,000 + performance bonus.
