Carsales is seeking a talented Mobile App Developer to enhance our flagship mobile applications. You will deliver intuitive features including live vehicle valuation tools, instantaneous seller chat, and computer-vision vehicle inspection workflows that delight millions of monthly active users.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Develop cross-platform: Develop cross-platform and native mobile features using Flutter, Dart, and Swift.
• Implement responsive: Implement responsive UI components adhering to Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Integrate third-party: Integrate third-party automotive camera APIs, image processing libraries, and secure payment SDKs.
• Optimize app: Optimize app launch performance, memory footprints, and network caching protocols.
• Maintain high: Maintain high automated test coverage using unit, widget, and mobile integration test suites.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Carsales, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Information Technology or relevant commercial mobile portfolio.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 4+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 4+ years of professional mobile application development with published apps in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Proven proficiency with Flutter/Dart or strong native iOS (Swift) background with cross-platform transition experience.
• Solid knowledge of MVVM/Bloc architecture patterns and reactive state management.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, Fastlane) and mobile analytics integration.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$135,000 – AU$165,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary ($135,000 – $165,000) + superannuation + company bonuses.
