Cabrini Health Malvern is recruiting an Oncology Registered Nurse to administer cytotoxic chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions.

Cabrini Health is looking for a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse to join our busy Day Oncology Infusion Centre in Malvern. You will administer antineoplastic chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and supportive blood products to cancer patients in an empathetic, modern environment.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Administer intravenous: Administer intravenous chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies adhering to eviQ protocols.
• Access, flush,: Access, flush, and maintain Central Venous Access Devices (PICC lines, port-a-caths, and Hickman catheters).
• Assess and: Assess and manage chemotherapy-induced side effects (nausea, neutropenia, febrile episodes).
• Provide compassionate: Provide compassionate education and psychological support to cancer patients and their families.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Cabrini Health, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing & ADAC Chemotherapy Competency.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 2-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Current unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC) certification or equivalent oncology competency.
• Minimum 2 years acute clinical oncology or hematology nursing experience.

At Cabrini Health, we understand that our people drive our achievements. An outstanding remuneration and wellbeing package is provided in line with Australian benchmarks:

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$88,000 – AU$105,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $88,000 – $105,000 + 11.5% super + not-for-profit salary packaging saving thousands in tax.
• Day oncology hours: Monday to Friday day shifts with no night duties.
• Malvern location with on-site staff parking and close proximity to public transport.
• Leave Entitlements: 4 weeks annual leave (with 17.5% annual leave loading where applicable) plus 10 days paid personal/carer’s leave.
