Queensland Health Wide Bay HHS is seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse for the Acute Medical and Rehabilitation Ward at Bundaberg Hospital.

Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is offering an opportunity for an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) to deliver comprehensive care to patients recovering from acute medical conditions.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Administer scheduled: Administer scheduled oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications safely.
• Perform accurate: Perform accurate physiological observations, detecting early clinical deterioration.
• Deliver evidence-based: Deliver evidence-based wound care and aseptic dressing changes.
• Document patient: Document patient progress reports accurately within the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Queensland Health, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Diploma of Nursing & Medication Endorsement.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 1-3 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with board-approved Medication Endorsement.
• Minimum 12 months clinical nursing experience in acute medical or rehabilitation settings.
• Sound knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$68,000 – AU$78,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary of $68,000 – $78,000 plus 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
• Queensland Health regional relocation assistance package up to $10,000.
• Generous 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% annual leave loading.
• Leave Entitlements: 4 weeks annual leave (with 17.5% annual leave loading where applicable) plus 10 days paid personal/carer’s leave.
