TAFE Queensland is seeking an experienced Senior VET Quality & Compliance Manager based at the South Bank campus in Brisbane. You will ensure institutional adherence to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), oversee internal audit schedules, manage training package transitions, and interface with the national regulator (ASQA).

As a key member of the team at TAFE Queensland in Brisbane, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead continuous: Lead continuous improvement audits verifying compliance against the ASQA Standards for RTOs 2015 and incoming revised standards.
• Oversee validation: Oversee validation of assessment tools, trainer matrix qualifications, and industry currency logs across faculties.
• Manage course: Manage course accreditation, CRICOS registrations, and state government training contract (User Choice) reporting.
• Coordinate responses: Coordinate responses to external regulatory performance assessments and regulatory reviews.
• Deliver professional: Deliver professional development workshops for educational faculty managers on regulatory risk.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at TAFE Queensland, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Education / Business & TAE50116/TAE50111 Diploma of VET & Lead Auditor Certification.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Degree in Education, Quality Management, or Business.
• Diploma of VET (TAE50116 or equivalent) and ISO Lead Auditor / Quality Auditing qualifications.
• 6+ years compliance and quality assurance experience in a large Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
• In-depth mastery of the VET Quality Framework, ESOS Act, and ASQA regulatory processes.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$130,000 – AU$155,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Remuneration $130,000 – $155,000 + 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
