G8 Education is seeking an energetic Senior Operations Manager based at our national support centre in Varsity Lakes, Gold Coast. In this multi-site leadership role, you will coach Centre Directors, elevate National Quality Standard ratings, and optimize financial viability across early learning centres throughout South East Queensland.

As a key member of the team at G8 Education in Gold Coast, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Provide operational: Provide operational governance and leadership to 15+ early learning centres.
• Drive occupancy: Drive occupancy growth, family enquiry conversion, and customer retention strategies.
• Monitor centre: Monitor centre financial budgets, labor wage ratios, and regulatory educator-to-child ratios.
• Ensure 100%: Ensure 100% compliance with ACECQA National Law and Regulations, conducting quality audits.
• Recruit, develop,: Recruit, develop, and mentor high-calibre Centre Directors and educational leaders.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at G8 Education, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or Operations Management.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years multi-site operations management experience in early childhood education.
• Demonstrated track record of lifting NQS ratings to ‘Exceeding’ across multiple centres.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the assigned regional cluster.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$135,000 – AU$165,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $135,000 – $165,000 + company vehicle or car allowance + super + annual bonus.
