UQ School of Nursing and Midwifery is hiring a Clinical Educator to deliver immersive simulation hospital training for undergraduate nursing students.

The University of Queensland is looking for a Clinical Educator to coordinate and teach simulation-based clinical nursing skills at our St Lucia campus.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Deliver immersive: Deliver immersive clinical simulation laboratories and debriefing sessions for nursing students.
• Conduct Objective: Conduct Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) assessments.
• Coordinate clinical: Coordinate clinical placement orientations and hospital preceptor partnerships.
• Contribute to: Contribute to continuous improvement of nursing curriculum aligned with NMBA standards.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at University of Queensland, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Master of Nursing / Education & AHPRA Registration.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Current unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Postgraduate qualification in Nursing, Clinical Education, or Health Sciences.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience with demonstrated teaching capability.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$105,000 – AU$125,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Salary $105,000 – $125,000 + 17% superannuation.
