Drive on-site delivery, safety, and daily trade coordination for landmark multi-level commercial projects in Brisbane.

Multiplex is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day site operations of a new high-profile commercial tower in Brisbane CBD. You will manage trade packages, daily construction staging, crane logistics, and safety standards, delivering world-class craftsmanship on schedule.

As a key member of the team at Multiplex in Brisbane, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Manage daily: Manage daily on-site trade sequencing, material deliveries, and heavy crane lifting operations.
• Enforce strict: Enforce strict workplace health, safety, and environmental protocols across all subcontractors.
• Implement inspection: Implement inspection and test plans (ITPs) ensuring zero defect handovers.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with project engineers and client representatives to resolve design clashes in real time.
• Conduct daily: Conduct daily pre-start briefings and manage multi-trade subcontractor meetings.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Multiplex, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Carpentry Trade Certificate, Diploma of Building & Construction, or equivalent.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Trade background in carpentry/joinery or Diploma/Degree in Construction Management.
• Minimum 6 years as a Site Manager on commercial projects valued over $50M.
• Current QLD White Card, First Aid, and Site Supervisor Licence.
• Proven leadership skills managing large, unionized site workforces.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$170,000 – AU$215,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary $170,000 – $215,000 + site allowances + 11.5% super.
