Roberts Co is seeking a detail-driven Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Sydney delivery team on a flagship $200M+ healthcare redevelopment. You will lead trade package scoping, procurement negotiations, and monthly cost forecasting, working alongside the Commercial Manager.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Draft, negotiate,: Draft, negotiate, and execute trade subcontract agreements ensuring rigorous risk mitigation.
  • Administer monthly: Administer monthly subcontractor progress claims and ensure compliance with NSW Security of Payment Act (SOPA).
  • Manage head: Manage head contract variations, requests for information (RFIs), and extension of time (EOT) claims.
  • Conduct monthly: Conduct monthly cost reporting, tracking contingency allocations using Jobpac.
  • Review and: Review and resolve commercial disputes with trade subcontractors collaboratively.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Roberts Co, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Law.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
  • Bachelor of Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 4+ years experience in contract administration with an Australian Tier-1 or Tier-2 head contractor.
  • Deep understanding of NSW Security of Payment legislation and standard contract suites (AS 4000/4300).
  • Strong negotiation and financial analytical capabilities.
