Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope

• In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain regulatory reporting systems using Axiom Controller View (V10 or above) while ensuring adherence to architectural, technical, security, and data access standards. You will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, participate in design and architectural discussions, and oversee production releases, troubleshooting, and remediation activities. You will also mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Monitor, evaluate, and challenge market and credit risk profiles across global portfolios and trading books.
• Formulate comprehensive risk assessments for novel transaction structures, structured products, and strategic investments.
• Design and enhance robust quantitative risk measurement frameworks, stress-testing parameters, and VaR models.
• Partner directly with front-office business units, quantitative developers, and external regulators to uphold prudential compliance.
• Deliver executive-level risk reports, breach investigations, and strategic mitigation recommendations to governing committees.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands on Axiom development experience, including expertise in Controller View V10+ and core components such as Taxonomy, Data Dictionaries, Data Models, Aggregations, and reporting.
• Strong SQL skills with solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL technologies, plus scripting experience (Unix, Python, Perl).
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Background in banking or financial services, with exposure to job scheduling tools like Control M.
• Familiarity with DevOps or cloud platforms is desirable.
