AMP Australia is seeking a licensed and experienced Senior Superannuation & Retirement Wealth Adviser to join our direct client advisory team at Circular Quay, Sydney. You will provide holistic, fee-for-service financial advice to retail clients approaching retirement, optimizing superannuation contributions, transition-to-retirement pensions, and longevity risk.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities
In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:
- Conduct comprehensive: Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to understand clients’ personal aspirations, retirement goals, and risk profiles.
- Formulate detailed,: Formulate detailed, compliant Statements of Advice (SoAs) utilizing Xplan financial planning software.
- Advise on: Advise on complex superannuation contribution strategies, SMSF suitability, and Centrelink Age Pension entitlements.
- Present strategies: Present strategies clearly to clients, answering questions on investment asset allocations and market cycles.
- Maintain strict: Maintain strict adherence to the Corporations Act, ASIC regulatory guidance, and FASEA Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience
To be successful in this position at AMP Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Planning or related discipline + FASEA / Quality of Advice Exam certified.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
- 5+ years of face-to-face financial planning experience with an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) holder.
- Fully compliant with FASEA education standards, including passing the national Financial Adviser Exam.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Master of Applied Finance is highly regarded.
- Strong empathy, active listening, and outstanding presentation capabilities.
