Michael Page Melbourne is seeking a Principal Consultant on Bourke St to lead senior executive search for engineering and supply chain leaders.

Michael Page is expanding its Engineering & Supply Chain recruitment practice in Melbourne, appointing an experienced Principal Consultant.

As a key member of the team at Michael Page in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Execute executive: Execute executive search mandates for Senior Project Engineers, Operations Directors, and Supply Chain Executives.
• Develop new: Develop new business partnerships with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics companies.
• Manage end-to-end: Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns from initial client brief to offer negotiation.
• Mentor associate: Mentor associate recruitment consultants within the practice.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Michael Page, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Business, Engineering, or HR.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 4+ years agency recruitment experience specializing in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Demonstrated history of strong billings and executive client retention.
• Exceptional commercial acumen and consultative recruitment skills.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$110,000 – AU$140,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Package $110,000 – $140,000 + monthly commission scheme + super.
