Architect resilient, multi-tenant cloud SaaS infrastructure supporting hundreds of government councils, hospitals, and universities at TechnologyOne.

TechnologyOne is hiring a Cloud Architect to shape the technical foundation of our multi-tenant SaaS ERP platform. You will lead cloud infrastructure design across multiple global regions, driving resilience, performance optimization, and stringent cybersecurity compliance (including IRAP and ISO 27001).

As a key member of the team at TechnologyOne in Brisbane, QLD, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Define target: Define target cloud architecture blueprints for multi-tenant microservices and serverless workloads on AWS.
• Establish cloud: Establish cloud governance frameworks, infrastructure automation standards, and multi-account structures.
• Drive FinOps: Drive FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure spend while maintaining peak system performance.
• Collaborate with: Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with Australian Information Security Manual (ISM) and IRAP.
• Mentor engineering: Mentor engineering squads on cloud-native design principles, fault tolerance, and zero-downtime releases.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at TechnologyOne, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Computer Science / Engineering + AWS or Azure Professional Solutions Architect certification.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 7+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 7+ years of experience in systems architecture with extensive hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services.
• Proven experience designing multi-tenant enterprise SaaS applications with strict tenant isolation.
• Deep proficiency with Terraform, container platforms (ECS/EKS), and networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$170,000 – AU$205,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
