Lendlease is recruiting a Senior Commercial Leasing Director to manage leasing across our flagship Premium Grade office portfolio at International Towers, Barangaroo. You will negotiate long-term corporate leases with multinational technology giants, top-tier law firms, and investment banks, maximizing net effective rents and occupancy.

As a key member of the team at Lendlease (Investment Management) in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead commercial: Lead commercial negotiations for high-value office leases, Heads of Agreement (HoA), and lease variations.
• Manage relationships: Manage relationships with premier commercial tenant advisory firms (JLL, CBRE, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield).
• Develop bespoke: Develop bespoke leasing proposals highlighting precinct sustainability (Green Star 6-star, WELL Platinum).
• Formulate lease: Formulate lease expiry risk mitigation and proactive tenant retention strategies.
• Provide regular: Provide regular leasing performance reports to wholesale institutional fund investors.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Lendlease (Investment Management), candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Property Economics, Land Economics, or Business & Licensed Real Estate Agent.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Degree in Property Economics, Land Economy, Commerce, or Law.
• Current NSW Real Estate Agent Licence.
• 8+ years commercial office leasing experience within Sydney CBD.
• Established network among Australian corporate property directors and tenant representatives.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$180,000 – AU$230,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Executive package $180,000 – $230,000 + performance bonus + 11.5% super + Lendlease employee benefits.
