Dentsu Australia is seeking an analytical Senior Digital Media Planner & Programmatic Trading Specialist in Surry Hills, Sydney. You will manage real-time bidding, audience data activation, and programmatic optimization across connected TV, digital out-of-home (pDOOH), and high-impact mobile display for multinational consumer brands.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

  • Set up,: Set up, trade, and optimize programmatic media campaigns across Display & Video 360 (DV360) and The Trade Desk.
  • Manage private: Manage private marketplace (PMP) deals and programmatic guaranteed (PG) contracts with premium publishers.
  • Activate first-party: Activate first-party customer data and clean rooms (InfoSum, LiveRamp) for cookieless targeting.
  • Perform daily: Perform daily bid stream analysis, supply path optimization (SPO), and viewability verification.
  • Deliver insightful: Deliver insightful performance dashboards and post-campaign analysis (PCA) presentations.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Dentsu Australia, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Data Science & Google / The Trade Desk Certified.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or quantitative discipline.
  • 3-5 years hands-on programmatic trading experience in a media agency or trading desk.
  • Certified in Google DV360 and The Trade Desk.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic ad-tech ecosystem, DSPs, SSPs, and measurement verification.

  • Competitive Remuneration: AU$110,000 – AU$135,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
