Plan and coordinate multi-hundred-tonne oversize/overmass (OSOM) mining machinery transport, multi-axle platform trailers, and road permits in WA.

K&S Corporation is seeking an experienced Heavy Haulage Logistics & Oversize Transport Specialist based at our heavy transport depot in Kewdale, Perth. You will plan and execute complex heavy haulage moves for mining excavators, transformers, and mill components up to 300+ tonnes, coordinating route swept-path surveys, Main Roads WA / NHVR heavy vehicle permits, utility escorts, and police escorts.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Plan and: Plan and coordinate multi-axle platform trailer and low-loader movements for oversize and overmass (OSOM) mining cargo.
• Secure statutory: Secure statutory OSOM transport permits from Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA) and the NHVR.
• Conduct detailed: Conduct detailed physical route surveys, swept path analyses, and bridge loading assessments.
• Coordinate Western: Coordinate Western Australia Police traffic escorts, Western Power line lifting crews, and pilot vehicles.
• Supervise loading,: Supervise loading, axle weight distribution, and heavy transport tie-down security compliant with load restraint guidelines.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at K&S Corporation, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Transport Engineering, Logistics, or extensive heavy haulage permit experience.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• 5+ years of heavy haulage, specialized transport coordination, or OSOM project logistics experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Australian heavy vehicle mass and dimension regulations, permit systems, and escort rules.
• Strong understanding of multi-axle hydraulic platform trailers, dollys, and prime mover configurations.
• Exceptional client communication, logistical planning, and multi-agency coordination skills.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$130,000 – AU$155,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary ($130,000 – $155,000) + fully maintained vehicle allowance + annual bonus.
• Kewdale Perth depot location with high-capacity specialized heavy transport fleet.
