Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

As the Registered or Enrolled Nurse at Registered Nurse — Impactful Aged Care & Career Growth, your primary operational responsibilities and strategic deliverables will include:

• Strategic Execution: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, rapid triage, and evidence-based patient management in line with Australian clinical governance standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Administer medications, specialized therapeutic interventions, and clinical treatments following strict safety protocols and documentation guidelines.
• Quality & Standards: Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, including medical specialists, allied health professionals, and nursing leadership.
• Process Optimization: Ensure rigorous compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards, infection prevention protocols, and clinical escalation pathways.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain timely, precise, and confidential clinical documentation utilizing digital health record systems and Australian privacy principles.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in unit clinical audits, continuous quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development seminars.
• Team Leadership & Support: Provide empathetic communication, patient advocacy, and educational support to patients, residents, families, and designated carers.

Candidate Skills, Experience & Qualifications

To succeed in this role and make an immediate impact within our team, we are seeking candidates who possess the following background, qualifications, and personal attributes:

• Formal Qualifications: Current unrestricted registration with the relevant Australian regulatory body (e.g. AHPRA, NMBA, or relevant clinical board).
• Industry Experience: Tertiary degree or accredited diploma in nursing, medicine, allied health, or relevant healthcare discipline from an accredited institution.
• Technical Competence: Demonstrated experience working within Australian acute, aged care, primary health, or specialized clinical environments.
• Certifications & Compliance: Current National Police Certificate, Working with Children Check (WWCC), and up-to-date occupational immunization records.
• Problem Solving & Adaptability: Proven capacity to exercise calm clinical judgement, emotional intelligence, and rapid critical thinking in high-tempo settings.
• Interpersonal Excellence: Strong verbal and written English communication skills with deep commitment to cultural safety and respectful patient interactions.

Remuneration Package, Workplace Benefits & Culture

Registered Nurse — Impactful Aged Care & Career Growth believes in recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent. In addition to a highly competitive remuneration package of AU$85,000 – AU$115,000 per annum + 11.5% statutory Superannuation, the successful applicant will enjoy:
