Cooloola Coast General Practice is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Rainbow Beach, Queensland. As a Registered Nurse in our general practice, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of the clinic. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work closely with experienced general practitioners and administrative staff in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assisting with the assessment, treatment, and care of patients in the general practice setting
• Administering medications, injections, and other medical treatments under the supervision of GPs
• Conducting various clinical procedures, such as dressings, sutures, and minor procedures
• Providing health education and promoting preventative care to patients
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of coordinated and integrated care
• Assisting with the management of medical supplies and equipment
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
• Extensive experience in nursing practice, ideally with experience in a leadership or management role
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a general practice or a similar primary care setting
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies
