Job Overview & Context

Elderly Care is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic aged care team at Bundaberg Aged Care Residence. This Part-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly residents, providing high-quality nursing care and supporting our commitment to person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Providing comprehensive nursing care to our elderly residents, including medication management, wound care, and monitoring of health conditions
  • Assessing and developing individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless and coordinated care delivery
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our nursing practices and aged care services
  • Promoting a positive and supportive environment for our residents, families, and the broader care team

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an aged care or similar healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and documentation processes

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to person-centred care and a passion for improving the lives of the elderly
