DSV Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Engineering & Material Handling Automation Manager based at Erskine Park in Western Sydney. You will lead automation engineering, facility layout design, Capex vendor tendering, and commissioning for cutting-edge automated multi-client distribution centres across Australia.

As a key member of the team at DSV Global Transport & Logistics in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead concept: Lead concept engineering and feasibility modeling for AutoStore, AMR robotic sorting, and pallet shuttle systems.
• Design optimal: Design optimal warehouse facility layouts, mezzanine structures, and truck dock flows using AutoCAD and 3D modeling.
• Prepare detailed: Prepare detailed Capex tender specifications and evaluate OEM vendor proposals (Dematic, Swisslog, Vanderlande).
• Manage installation,: Manage installation, commissioning, and site acceptance testing (SAT) of automated material handling equipment.
• Conduct Opex: Conduct Opex cycle time studies and identify continuous improvement engineering debottlenecking opportunities.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at DSV Global Transport & Logistics, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering & CPEng.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Electrical).
• 6+ years experience in warehouse automation engineering, logistics consulting, or material handling OEM integration.
• Deep technical proficiency in automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and robotics.
• Strong financial modeling and project management credentials.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$150,000 – AU$185,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
