CEVA Logistics is appointing a Logistics Engineering Manager in Truganina to lead automation integration and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

CEVA Logistics is looking for an innovative Logistics Engineering Manager to lead automation technology implementation across our mega-facilities in Victoria.

As a key member of the team at CEVA Logistics in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead engineering: Lead engineering design and commissioning for automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS, AutoStore).
• Implement Autonomous: Implement Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) on warehouse floors.
• Conduct Lean: Conduct Lean Six Sigma studies to identify workflow bottlenecks and optimize picking ergonomics.
• Manage automation: Manage automation vendor performance, system maintenance contracts, and equipment uptime.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at CEVA Logistics, candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Bachelor of Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience integrating automated material handling systems in logistics.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, discrete event simulation, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$140,000 – AU$170,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Remuneration $140,000 – $170,000 + performance bonus + superannuation.
