Woolworths Primary Connect is hiring a Maintenance Lead at Moorebank Automated Distribution Centre to maintain multi-million dollar robotic sortation.

Primary Connect is recruiting an Automated Maintenance Lead to direct reliability engineering for high-bay AS/RS cranes and automated picking robotics at Moorebank.

As a key member of the team at Woolworths Group (Primary Connect) in Sydney, NSW, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Direct scheduled: Direct scheduled preventative and reactive maintenance across automated crane systems and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot complex: Troubleshoot complex PLC control systems (Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA networks.
• Analyze equipment: Analyze equipment downtime telemetry to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead a: Lead a team of electro-mechanical technicians and manage spare parts inventories.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at Woolworths Group (Primary Connect), candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Trade / Engineering.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Trade or Engineering qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in automated warehouse or high-speed manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on diagnostic capabilities with industrial automation and PLC control systems.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$130,000 – AU$160,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary $130,000 – $160,000 + performance bonus + super.
