Oversee regulatory compliance, responsible service of gambling codes, and AUSTRAC anti-money laundering frameworks for 350+ venues.

ALH Group is seeking a Senior Gaming & Hospitality Compliance Manager in South Yarra, Melbourne. You will lead regulatory governance, harm minimization programs, self-exclusion audits, and anti-money laundering compliance across Australia’s largest network of neighborhood pubs and licensed venues.

As a key member of the team at ALH Group (Endeavour Group) in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a central role in driving excellence, upholding top-tier Australian industry standards, and contributing directly to the strategic milestones of one of the nation’s premier employers.

Key Duties & Core Responsibilities

In this critical role, your operational duties and key performance responsibilities will encompass:

• Lead national: Lead national compliance with state gaming commissions (VGCCC, Liquor & Gaming NSW, OLGR QLD).
• Drive implementation: Drive implementation of enhanced customer care, facial recognition self-exclusion, and responsible gambling charters.
• Oversee AUSTRAC: Oversee AUSTRAC cash transaction monitoring and suspicious matter reporting protocols.
• Conduct unannounced: Conduct unannounced compliance audits across licensed hotel venues.
• Represent the: Represent the group in regulatory consultations and government harm-minimization inquiries.

Required Qualifications, Licenses & Experience

To be successful in this position at ALH Group (Endeavour Group), candidates are expected to satisfy the following essential selection criteria:

• Mandatory Qualification: Degree in Law, Business, or Criminal Justice & Gaming Compliance Certification.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of verified industry experience in Australia or recognized overseas equivalence.
• Degree in Law, Business, Criminology, or Regulatory Compliance.
• 6+ years compliance leadership within the gaming, wagering, casino, or hospitality sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian state gaming legislation and AUSTRAC requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and stakeholder relationship skills.

• Competitive Remuneration: AU$140,000 – AU$175,000 per year + standard Australian Superannuation (11.5%).
• Competitive salary $140,000 – $175,000 + 11.5% super + Endeavour Group bonuses.
